Symtech Fire’s Module 10 Multi-Use Fire Simulator Featured in 2026 Firehouse Innovation Awards

Berkeley Heights, NJ – Symtech Fire announced that its Module 10 Multi-Use Skills Fire Simulator has been recognized in the 2026 Firehouse Innovation Awards. The program highlights products and software platforms that help fire service agencies deliver critical services to their communities.

The annual Firehouse Innovation Awards recognize products and software platforms that support the fire service through new technologies, practical solutions and advancements in how departments serve their communities. The honorees are featured by Firehouse Magazine, a leading source of news, training and information for fire and emergency services professionals.

Featured in Firehouse Magazine’s October 13, 2026, article, the Module 10 was recognized for its ability to bring multiple firefighter skills training applications together in a single, compact unit. The simulator incorporates 10 essential training features, allowing departments to conduct hands-on drills without requiring a large, dedicated training facility.

“On behalf of the 2026 Firehouse Innovation Awards, I would like to congratulate Symtech Fire on their honoree status,” said Firehouse Magazine Editor-in-Chief Peter Matthews. “This competitive program allows Firehouse to celebrate and recognize the most innovative products and technologies impacting the fire service community.”

The Module 10 supports training in forcible entry, cutting doors, ventilation, search and rescue, ladder operations, confined space openings, the Denver Drill, lock cutting, VES (Vent-Enter-Search) and window bailout techniques.

Its modular design allows departments to select a fixed installation or a configuration with wheels and casters for repositioning. Trailer-mounted options are also available for departments that need to transport their training equipment. Additional features, including smoke, ceiling-pull, sprinkler and mayday training components, can further expand the simulator’s applications.

By consolidating multiple training disciplines into one platform, the Module 10 gives departments more opportunities to incorporate repetitive, hands-on skills practice into their regular training schedules. The simulator can be used as a standalone training resource or integrated into a larger fire training facility.

All Symtech live fire simulators are designed in accordance with NFPA 1400, Standard on Fire Service Training .
